Trochu historie - původně tradicionál, znám také pod názvem Black Girl nebo In the Pines.

Píseň se stala populární poprvé v roce 1944 kdy ji nazpíval Lead Belly. Samozřejmě to není originál, ale píseň se stala tak nějak prvně hitem právě u toho zpěváka. No a verzi od Nirvany určitě znáte. Ta se podle mě opravdu vydařila. Nabízím opět srovnání.

Vezmu to stručně. Prostě mě napadlo srovnat verze někdejších obrovských hitů a jejich novějších upravených podob. Budou vždycky dvě ukázky: originál a cover verze. Možná se pokouším, aspoň v některých případech, srovnávat věci nesrovnatelné, to nevím. Stejně většinou záleží na vkusu posluchače. Takže je jasné, že se názory budou od člověka k člověku lišit.

I když dávám vetšinou přednost originálům a předělávka na mě často působí jako urážka dané písně, přesto nemohu tvrdit že originál je vždy nejlepší. Stane se, že teprve nová úprava dodá písni tu správnou "šťávu". (I když by se zase našel aspoň jeden člověk, který by řekl: "Proboha, jak je vůbec možné takhle zkazit píseň?"...:D )

Emailová adresa se má prý napsat tak, aby sice byla srozumitelná pro lidi, ale ne pro stroje, které šmejdí po netu a sbírají adresy do spamových databází. Na něco takovýho jsem měla onehdy referát.
